Tony Cable's Record Breaking 45th Sydney to Hobart

December 26th 1961 Tony Cable was onboard ‘Tarni’ for his first Sydney to Hobart.

December 26th 2008 Tony Cable will be onboard Getaway Sailing’s Volvo 60 to compete in his record breaking 45th Sydney to Hobart.

Last year Tony and Lou Abrahams equalled the late John Bennetto’s 44 race record.

Tony has missed only 3 Hobart’s 1963, 1971 and 1978.

The Getaway Team are proud to have Tony as a member of the crew, and look forward to celebrating with Tony when they dock in Hobart.
